Patawise1. Who we are
Patawise ("we", "us") is a software studio based in Sylhet, Bangladesh, building custom software, mobile apps, web platforms and AI-integrated products. We are responsible for the personal information collected through patawise.com. You can reach us at patawise.dev@gmail.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the patawise.com company website. Some Patawise products have their own privacy policies, which apply instead when you use them:
- Mobile apps: each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing.
- Patawise Tools (tools.patawise.com): see the Patawise Tools privacy policy.
- Client projects: software we build for clients is covered by that client's own privacy policy and our agreements with them.
3. Information you give us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the message you write, and anything you choose to include in it.
We use this information only to reply to your enquiry, discuss a potential project with you, and keep a record of our conversations. Form messages are delivered to our email inbox and stored in a protected file on our web server that is not publicly accessible. Please don't include sensitive personal information, such as health or financial details, in your message.
4. Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the website secure and working properly and are kept for a limited period.
Web fonts. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google states that the Google Fonts service doesn't set cookies. See Google Fonts privacy for details.
Cookies. This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
5. How we share information
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as our web hosting provider and our email provider (Google), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. How long we keep information
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting project, and for up to two years after our last contact for business records, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.
7. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we process your information on these bases: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (responding to project enquiries), and our legitimate interests in running a secure website and communicating with people who contact us.
8. International transfers
We are based in Bangladesh, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email patawise.dev@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to stored enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if a problem arises.
11. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
